We collect the following categories of information when you use mytradr:

  • Account data — email address, name, and authentication credentials provided during registration.
  • Trading data — trade history, positions, journal entries, and copier configuration you store through the Service.
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, timestamps, browser type, and device information collected automatically.
  • Cookies — session tokens and preference cookies necessary for the Service to function (see Section 7).

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Process your trades, journal entries, and copier signals.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, critical alerts).
  • Monitor for abuse, fraud, and technical issues.
  • Generate aggregated, anonymized analytics to improve product quality.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in a Supabase-hosted PostgreSQL database with encryption at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Authentication tokens are handled via Supabase Auth with industry-standard hashing. We apply the principle of least privilege to all internal access.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate mytradr:

  • Supabase — database hosting, authentication, and real-time subscriptions.
  • Netlify — static site hosting and CDN delivery.
  • Render — server-side application hosting.
  • Crisp — live chat support widget.
  • Payment processor — subscription billing. We do not store your full card details; they are handled entirely by the payment processor.

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We select providers that maintain strong data protection standards.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and trading data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Export — request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Objection — object to processing of your data for specific purposes.

7. Cookies

mytradr uses essential cookies only — session authentication tokens and your theme preference (mytradr_defaultz). We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services (Crisp) may set their own cookies for chat functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

mytradr is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
